Couple of reasons, now you won’t have a placebo to determine how well it really works, secondly, it will give some a false confidence, and third, best to be aware of potential drawbacks, the last thing the fight against COVID needs is wasted time, energy, and funding

Plasma isn’t a drug and it’s safer than a lot of things.
Can you come up with a medical or even logical reason why it shouldn’t be used besides the fact Trump might score a win with it?

Wow, the day before the Repub convention, Trump comes up with this. It was predictable. It is also not a truth. Plasma has not had a serious, rigorous clinical test. Trump is exerting all the pressure he can on the CDC. He wants this possible hoax to stay on the front page through the convention. He is trying to rescue a disaster.

Not at all, it is deliberate, orchestrated, Trump knows melodrama sells, and has seen the radio/Fox demagogues employ it successfully for years, you can’t have a melodrama without defined good guys/bad guys, there has to be villains, and playing the martyr role is all part of the charade.
