Agreed in general. This change started in the 1990s. A benchmark is when Newt and his gang took over the House. Trump isn't the cause, he's a symptom like canker sores on herpes infected genitals. The cankers don't cause the infection, they're just a result of it.

While there is no cure for herpes, there is a cure for this disease on American politics: Voting
