List of GOOD things that Bush did

wtf? are you drinking or having fantasies about me....

oh yes spurt, you've finally broken me down with all of your clever double entendres, and sly little hints about how much I want you. It's true, I have been looking for a whiny, little con runt, and now that you've come along, no one else will do.

try something sweeter and i might play

Yes, I bet you would.

Can somebody hold my hair back for me?

:barf:

OOOOH okay that took me a second. I thought you were going to give him head or something before I saw the little vomiting smiley.

I was all like "Shit Yurts got game".

In all seriousness though, a couple of good things Bush did was attempt to reform Social Security and to invade Afghanistan in response to the attacks. Other than that (and the Heller decision of his Court picks), there are very few valid arguments to make.

Ewwwww. I cannot even believe you thought that for a second, gross!

He grosses me out with all of his comments about me "wanting him". Believe me, I had to be really moved to use that vomit icon!

Umm. What would you call them then? Waco is arguable but Oklahoma? That was a straight up terrorist attack.

There's no argument about waco. That wasn't a terror attack. It wasn't even close. That's the most retarded thing you idiots have come up with in at least 60 minutes.

Oklahoma was certainly a terror attack, but how the fuck can you guys blame Clinton for it? That's the second most retarded thing you've come up with in the last 60 minutes.

If Clinton got a PDB about either the 93 tower attack or Oklahoma prior to the event then ignored it because he was too busy playing golf or taking vacation or trying to fund Star Wars, you let me know. There's no parallel here. If there's ANY indication that our intelligence knew anything about the 93 attack prior to it happening (akin to guys taking flight lessons prior to 9/11, a PDB about Bin Laden's upcoming attack on the US, etc), let it loose.

I think that the number and severity of attacks in any four year period have much less to do with who is President and much more to do with how determined the aggressors are to strike. I've always found the "We haven't been hit since 9/11!" argument to be rather weak.

I agree. The larger point one would extrapolate from this conclusion has a lot to do with what we've learned from every NIE since 2006 or so. They've all stated unequivocally that the number and fervor of terrorism in the world has risen as a result of the Iraq invasion.

International terrorists are more determined to hit us *somewhere* (not necessarily within the US - the "far war") than they were prior to 2003. By any objectionable measure, we are LESS safe because of Bush, not moreso, regardless of the number of times we've been hit since 2001.

We'd need to see specific examples of plots they've thwarted (they claim to have stopped 11 of them, but I don't think anyone believes that's true at all) in order for a compelling case to be made for Bush's accomplishments re keeping us safe.

OK, let's dispense with this dribble point by point.

Insert these answers after each of your "these." What is your objection to prenatal care? War never solved anything -- except slavery, nazism, islamofacism.... The usual liberal mantra: "business bad, business bad, business bad..." Liberals believe in government as the cure-all, while the intelligent realize that the free market creates jobs and is responsible for a doubling of the GDP every generation. The poor in this country are the richest in the world, most having cars, tv's, and owning their own homes. Our only concern over anyone else's life style is when it impinges on the rest of us: we don't care it you have sex in the street except that it would scare the horses. How ironic, an obtuse attack on Governor Palin who has more experience than Obama and wiser than Biden. Last but not least, the theory behind most of your blather is the fear that the sky is falling, that there is always some crisis that only you progressives are aware of, and need to show how much smarter you are than us. Did we save the whales? Avoid those killer African bees? Miss out on the threat of heterosexual AIDS? Now its the Global Warming -- oh, I forgot, since it got cold instead of hot, now its "climate change." BTW, when was the period in modern times that the environment was better?

I didn't mind answering since a conservative is never so tall as when he (she) stoops to educate a liberal. You're welcome.

Hang in there grasshopper...the old round house works real good!:clink:
