Its not "stand your ground" unless you are actually threatened. Nobody threatened that couple, all they did was walk by.

There may have been some crime against others, but I doubt the Irish were killing each other en mass like the black on black we see today.

Something the democrats ignore, and are actually fueling by defunding the police.

So how are they to know that they are peaceful and not just a mob intent on burning down a few rich people's houses? I wonder how bloody rational you'd be if there were hundreds of people outside your Palm Beach mansion?

False, there is no evidence that these people reasonably believed they were danger of great bodily harm or death.

What is the women's role in this race war? Maybe not at the same level as men but we all know there are women who own guns. Will they be out in the streets shooting each other up as well or will they say 'f that, let the men kill themselves'?

None of their supporters can explain why, if they felt so threatened, neither they nor their neighbors called the police. They live in a wealthy area where police presence is immediate. Over on the north side of STL you might wait a long time but not there. BTW, the mayor's house is just down the street; that's where the protesters were headed. If they were behaving in a violent manner the cops would have been all over them.

All good points. I'm curious why the police weren't already there. Was it over within a few minutes and the police didn't have time to react even though they were most certainly at the Mayor's house?
