Dems threaten Postmaster General with ‘arrest’ if he refuses to testify:

why does the post office need money to do something that isn't being done?.....

Ending overtime during a pandemic is a way to slow service. Cutting out drop boxes is designed to slow down mail. Taking out automatic sorting machines is designed to slow down the mail. Those are being done now. 80 days from an election that due to the Trump virus will have the most mail-in ballots of all time. The time of greatest need is being met with methods that slow down the mail. Are you familiar with 'honest"? Is that a word you know nothing of?

It's all grandstanding for now, but after January 20th, DeJoy could have a serious problem on his hands and end up "dead broke" like Hillary but without the fan base to pay off his debts.

DeJoy has got deep pockets, so he can pay his own debts.

I'm talking about the fact that no state so far has mailed ballots to every registered voter and that you are lying when you say they have......

I don't know if that is true or not but it doesn't matter: we could mail ballots to everyone in Russia and all that matters is that the ballot accounting process is thorough enough to only count registered citizens...which they all are. Well, at least 34 of them and DC:

Thirty-four states and the District of Columbia already allowed anyone to vote absentee. But many of these places are making the process easier. California will start proactively mailing ballots to registered voters, joining universal vote-by-mail states such as Colorado. Many states will send every registered voter an absentee-ballot application.

since no state has ever had to do it before how do you know?.......for that matter, how do you know the ballot is coming back from a registered citizen and not from an "other occupant"?.....

You don't trust your own state to count the ballots properly? Isn't that Federal law for Federal elections?

Are you seeking to disenfranchise every member of the military, business person out of state or the country and the elderly? What do they do now to make sure it's not "the other occupant" as you think most Republicans do?

1) are you joking?......Gretch the Wretch runs my state.....

2) members of the military, business people out of state and the elderly (of which i am one) can vote absentee ballot......we don't need the state to send ballots to people who haven't requested one.......

1) You choose to live there. Fine, but whining about it just makes you look weak and spineless.

2) From the cost aspect, I agree. Since this is a pandemic I can see why your state senators and governor think it's a good idea to spend some extra money to ensure every citizen had an opportunity to vote. Republicanism wins again! Woot!
