Don't tug on superman's cape

SEC baby
Tim tebow is superman
Superfreak is a madof ish stalker.

Hell yeah!!

I guess the people who said Tebow was not an accurate passer will shut up now?

And all that talk about Big 12 speed? lmao

Oklahoma is the new Ohio State
Big 12 is Big NO D
No5 Texas tech gets rolled up by No25 ole miss
That in a nutshell is the SEC dominance

I'm all for playoffs. To me it gives legitimacy to a national title. My Sooners played pretty good defense last night but missed a couple of plays (a couple of coaching errors IMO and a good defensive play by Florida) in the game that could have possibly made a difference. I have been very critical of our defense (or lack thereof) all year but was satisfied with it last night.......because I have the greatest respect for Tim Tebow. He is a great college player and a great guy. I could envision him running amuck all over the field and, for the most part, our guys did OK.

I still want a playoff system.........very badly.

LMAO... so tell us toppy, did Florida come anywhere CLOSE to their scoring average?

How many picks did Tebow throw in the regular season... and how many did he throw last night?

Tell us again about the SEC dominance.... Utah smoking Bama...

The way these things work is thusly:

Tim Tebow tugs on Superman's cape, spits into the wind and messes around with Jim.

It's kind of like a Chuck Norris/Ron Paul/Cole Hamels facts. Just being Superman is lame. Try this one:

Superman wears Tim Tebow underoos.

See the concept: Tebow is far superior to Superman, not merely his equivalent.

superfreak you have the class of someone who does steal little old ladies money for a living.
Florida spanked them, OK shit defense did play over its head.
Please take your head out your ass and check Tebow's passing and rushing yards.
And 3 straight for the SEC and two crystals each for FLA and LSU is total domination you fucking loner stalker.

Yep, Bama got smoked by Utah. Of course, the fact that a team that was a bad as Bama was last was even IN the top 10 is amazing. The SEC is 6-2 in bowls, and the Big 12 is 4-3 (I believe).

Did you happen to catch any of the Ole Miss beating of Texas Tech?

People from those huge schools down south and west have WAY to much school pride if you ask me. They even go around chirping that the education is better then an ivy league school. lol

Yep, I caught every game this bowl season. It helps having two weeks off at Christmas and New Years. :) Houston Nutt is a good coach. His lack of discipline may have run its course and if so he'll be a great coach. Not only was the Big 12 4-3, the Big 12 South was responsible for all three of those losses. It boils down to a lack of defense and not having to play hard nosed football on offense all year. It's like we play prevent defense all year and just try to score more than our opponent does, not worrying about trying hard to stop them. As I said, I was happy with the way OU played defense last night. A play or two on offense at a couple of key moments would have been nice but didn't happen. I definitely feel like a 1990's Buffalo Bills fan.

The education at a lot of schools down south are ranking in the top nationwide.

But this thread is about college football. If you bring up academics that means you are stretching for something in a sports thread.

Yep, I am proud of the college I attended. I am prouder of it because that where my kids went/go. And I am proud of the traditions in football too.

School pride is a bad thing? I'll never get that. It's kind of like being looked down on if one is "proud to be an American." I don't see anything wrong with that pride either, unless it is blinding. I don't want to be like Europe. I teach foreign exchange students from various countries over there every year and one of the things they anticipate and end up liking the most is the sports competitions......at our school it is mostly basketball. They have no such thing over there so there isn't the sense of belonging and pride that we have in our high schools and eventually in our colleges.

Your making my point. the chest pounding pride is unbelievably high.

And rightly so. I am proud of my alma mater as well. And I am proud of our state's college football seasons even if we were 1 - 2 in the bowls.

LMAO... you have a weird sense of what a 'spanking' is for a football game. It was 7-7, then 14-14, then 17-14.... then an amazing pick by the Florida d-back... Florida went up 10 with 3 minutes to go. How the hell is that a spanking?

Tebow is a good football player, but he is over hyped. He may be a good player on a very talented team, but lets see what he does in the pros when he is playing with the best of the best. He will not be a good QB in the pros. More than likely he will be a fullback or maybe a tight end.

I'll be rooting for him in the pros because I think he is a good guy. I like to see good guys succeed. I know he is not the quintessential pro quarterback but if he is willing to learn (and I think he is)......ya never know.
