No states send out unsolicited ballots. Some *do* send out unsolicited applications that must be returned in order to receive a mail-in ballot. Our state (MI) did that a while back.

And just to show that the Secretary of State is not the boss of us, a small group of RW morons videoed themselves burning theirs. *THAT* will show 'em! :laugh:

This threadfail gave up the Conservative game. Conservatives know they cannot win an election based on the merits of their ideas. Rather than changing their ideas to broaden their electoral base, Conservatives are choosing a strategy of delegitimizing elections so they can grasp onto power that they are sure to lose.

That's why threadfails like this one exist. Conservatives lie about everything, and they want to lie about the election in order to lay the groundwork for the rejection of the democratic process.

Because Conservatism is, at its core, authoritarianism.

I got an unsolicited sample ballot in the mail today. Did the Demonrats do this? Should I start a whiny thread about it? If the thread is moved, should I throw a temper tantrum? Just want to find out the correct protocol.

I have had neighhbors mail get wrongly delivered to my house, I just walked over and gave them their mail. I did not think it was a conspiracy or a serious problem.

The election commission sends the application to voters. It is a service. There is Corona around and they are giving you an opportunity to stay healthier. You should be grateful. You can throw it away. It means nothing.

I think there's some miscommunication here...

I'm not the one who claims I got an unsolicited mail-in ballot...that was anatta.

Anatta, who says he lives in Florida, also said he got an unsolicited mail-in ballot, in a state where they don't send those out unsolicited.

This is his OP, which means he took the time to craft an OP, took the time to review it, and then took the time to post it on JPP. So he made several active choices he didn't have to make, for the purpose of lying about the integrity of absentee voting because he knows that Trump is going to lose in November, and the last 4 years he spent carrying Trump's baggage will have been for nothing.
