Like many terms the term Merica is mildly derogatory when used one way and more of a joke when used in a different context. The term was used to deride MAGA hats that are made in China so I don't see it as a slight to the country but a slam against the hats. See LIG not everything is black and white.

The second mistake you made was I am defending the persons 1st amendment rights whether I agree or not, just as I swore to do in my oath.
 
There is a First Amendment right to call out people who use the derogatory spelling of America.

Unless the super moderator abuses her moderator privileges.

The First Amendment only prevents the government from censoring free speech...with a few exceptions.
