Another one, where was the "anti crime unit" eliminated? Did you read any of the articles included in the thread? Can't recall any of them mentioning an "anti crime unit." Do you have access to something no knows or are you just making it up as you go along

Ah, no, it is what you, and your media, is implying, Armageddon has arrived, largely to sell the Trump narrative, and no, the city is not falling apart, last I knew Wall Street went on today just as it does everyday, the Island ferry operated as usual, subways ran as expected, etc., etc., etc.

The first response to the OP was Bourban and Rana saying defunding the police is a lie. The article in the OP is coming from the San Francisco Chronicle, not Breibart. Defunding the police has been discussed nationally for a couple of months now. What are people kneeling for and protesting in the street for if not to change the police department and how it operates? But now it's all a lie?

And it was the activists themselves who decided to label it defunding the police instead of reforming the police or anything else. I wasn't a marketing major but that's not good marketing to me and is less likely to draw support.
