Texes is worse then anywhere now for morbidity (and I think hospitalizations)
It's the Mexican border that is doing it -same with AZ

I thnk Fl being south is part of it -but having Miam-Dade hot spot is hitting us all now

The right should have listened to KAep when he knelt. Now BLM is all over.

They should have listened when told to stay home and wear a mask, but they didnt.

McALLEN, Texas — There were many reasons for a special level of alarm when the coronavirus swept out of Texas’ biggest cities in recent weeks and arrived with force in the Rio Grande Valley.

The small cities along the border with Mexico are among the poorest in Texas. The Valley, as local residents call it, is a place of hard labor and low pay where “working from home” is unfeasible. It is dotted with teeming colonias, orphan communities that are often without paved roads or sewer connections — places where the virus, once it arrives, can thrive.

The worries, it turned out, were justified. More than 8,000 people in Hidalgo County — some of whom I know only too well — have had cases of the virus confirmed. The county on Thursday surpassed its previous record with 1,274 cases in a single day; more than 150 people have died.

It does. You rightys were warned about problems and Trumped them away. You ignored them and went on with business as usual. So instead of stopping cops from abusing blacks, Repub legislators ignored it. Instead of dealing with Corona, Trump fought a disinformation campaign. These problems did not have to fester. They could have been dealt with.

Why exactly has TrumpCo.'s COVID response been so egregiously inept?

Other developed countries are getting back to a semblance of normalcy, with mortalities approaching fairly close to zero. Korea, Germany, Canada. Even Italy has gotten this largely under control, and they were the epicenter four months ago.

What is it about Trump that made his COVID response almost the worst in the developed world?
