Florida Gov. DeSantis proves the naysayers wrong

Did you see Trump's tweet

Trump promotes tweet that accuses the CDC and doctors of ‘lying’ about COVID-19 to hurt his campaign
https://www.rawstory.com/2020/07/tr...of-lying-about-covid-19-to-hurt-his-campaign/

This is demonstrative of what Trump's priority is, and how he views the world. The doctors aren't concerned about, you know, Doctor stuff. Their one and only agenda is to get Trump. I guess we can add paranoia to the list of mental afflictions that Trump suffers from. I guess this one goes hand in hand with narcissism. You Trumptards must be so proud of your guy.

WTF are you on about now? Cases are cases.

See the word cases? Do you need a fucking dictionary dipshit?

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

Well Einstein, maybe it’s not reported on CNN but cases can be broken down into categories. A ‘positive case’ is minimally informative. For example: patient A is admitted to the hospital for an ankle fracture but flunks the COVID test. [incidental finding in medical jargon]

Patient undergoes surgery and remains asymptomatic for COVID. Actually, the surgery would probably be delayed for two weeks—but you get the point. Well, I should probably keep in mind who I’m talking to.

At any rate, that ‘case’ counts the same as the ‘case’ on the vent up in ICU.

It’s important to understand that not all ‘cases’ are the same.

There were 15,500 new cases in Florida, as reported BY THE STATE. Which one of those words are you having trouble with?

So Trump reduced the availability of testing so dupes like you could claim that there were fewer cases and deaths than there actually were. You ignored the statement earlier in the article where they stated that deaths were being understated.

They're understated worldwide. No one gives the full info on deaths WITH WuFlu and deaths FROM WuFlu.

Exactly. Thank-you. It's to keep people in panic mode who think that's 'cases' are deaths.
Death rate continues to be flat.

And, does it? Yes. The lies hurt him...and the country.

The CDC is the Trump Administration, he appoints the head of the Dept., you are telling us Trump’s own Administration is lying?

You got to forget it there “Stretch,” no matter how you downplay or reframe the facts, Florida is now the epicenter of COVID with no apparent end in sight, setting new records daily, your “Governor Desantis proves the naysayers wrong” theme has turned out bogus. Move on

The Guv had it right.
Trump had it right.
Birx had it right.
Fake media and left got it wrong. All those predictions of gloom and doom for Florida seniors, especially in
The Villages.....no epidemic there. Our Guv put seniors first to protect them as opposed to NY where they
were offered up to be sacrificed. Now Mario 'Mengele' Cuomo blames the CDC guidelines.
People flocked here in droves to get out of the dark interior of their
virus-breeding houses and out into the fresh air and sunshine.
All those "smart college educated" NE lefties couldn't figure that out...it was too simple.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Vice President Mike Pence visited central Florida to meet with tourism officials Wednesday as the region’s biggest tourist destination — Walt Disney World — began reopening a shopping and entertainment complex.

During the visit, Vice President Pence and Governor Ron DeSantis answered questions from reporters about the reopening of the state.

Governor DeSantis didn’t hold back, blasting them for their fearmongering reporting and overall criticism of his state. DeSantis pointed out that Florida has the lowest death rate in the region, and generally lower than anywhere else.

Here's your opportunity to re-read your old post and know that you are a worthless, deseased blob of non-sentient protoplasm, Stretch.

The CDC has misinformed us. So, no matter who is in office the citizens should not be in panic mode.
Trump and others spoke of this "combining of totals" back in April.
So, go live your life. This will pass. We don't need another shutdown...well...maybe the left does. That's about it.

According to Trump, 99% of covid-19 cases are benign.

Florida official who opposed local mask mandate in ‘critical condition’ with COVID-19

A public official in Florida who voted against a resolution requiring people wear face masks to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus is now in critical condition after being infected by the disease.

Local news station News 4 Jax reports that St. Johns County Commissioner Paul Waldron has been hospitalized after being diagnosed with COVID-19, and his daughter posted on Facebook late last week that he went into septic shock and has “many organs struggling.”

The Guv had it right!

Pretty sure there are posts on this board where you took a cue from Trump and predicted this virus would basically go away when the weather got warm.

"Coronavirus deaths on the rise in almost every region of the U.S."

New U.S. coronavirus cases reached record levels over the weekend, with deaths trending up sharply in a majority of states, including many beyond the hard-hit Sun Belt.

Five states — Arizona, California, Florida, Mississippi and Texas — also broke records for average daily fatalities in that period.

See, put the case count with the death count and that’s informative lol.

But..but..there’s a lag between cases and deaths. Well, there certainly was in April but maybe something has changed. Almost certainly more than one thing. Improved treatments for one. Younger population being affected [thank you, BLM and Antifa]. Last but not least—and this is the most hopeful part: maybe the virus is weakening.

But this is an election year and we’re not allowed to hopeful.

You are as usual flat out wrong., I gave a couple of sites. It has been found out for a while now. About 25 percent of Corona sufferers have lingering medical problems. I could provide even more, but do yourself a favor and read a few. There are lots provided by sources like the Cleveland Clinic, Berkley medical and many more. Quit being a jerk and take the time to learn something. That may have lingering effects too.

I did read. Non of them are medical journals. And they all lead back to some left wing source. You might as well just post tweets. That seems to be the extent of your intellect.

Our favorite White House Press Secretary informed us today that Doctor Fauci is presenting only one viewpoint. That's correct. He's providing the scientific, medical, factual viewpoint, while the White House is presenting the 'here are the alternative facts that will help get the President re-elected' viewpoint. And of course the Trumptards here lap it up like pigs at the trough and repeat it without the least bit of critical thought. Trump doesn't like science, medicine, or facts.

At this point, your attempt at spiking the football in the OP looks preposterous and wildly premature.

Mortality is going up and Florida is a global pandemic epicenter now.

You're in the weeds. Have a great day...or go pick fights with someone who enjoys that. Peace.
