Florida Gov. DeSantis proves the naysayers wrong

I’m wondering are these actual *cases* or positive tests?

And yeah, the death *rate* has a lot of catching up to do in order to clear Cuomo and DeBlasio’s bar.

It's all a crapshoot in the U.S. since April when our CDC merged the probable & confirmed cases to create inflated totals.

Where do you get this stuff?

No wonder some of you are scared out of your wits. The vast majority of *recoveries* are just that—recoveries. And it’s especially true in the younger population. They most often get mild or even vague symptoms and done. Recovered. No symptoms whatsoever are hardly uncommon.

They get thrown into the ‘recovered basket’. The organ damage is associated with the runaway immune response which occurs in a very small minority of patients. If a COVID patient survives the ICU experience, yes, they will likely have long term damage—usually to the lungs.

But statistically, very few of them end up there.

If 25% of *all* COVID cases resulted in major organ and even brain damage we’d be living through an unmitigated nightmare. They wouldn’t be able to build hospitals fast enough.

Not scared. I do not live in a Repub state. My guv will not kill us for political gain.
Apparently you do not read other than right wing crap. You are wrong. Here is an article. https://news.berkeley.edu/2020/07/0...rt-damage-covid-19-may-leave-lingering-marks/ Why do i debate with people who live in a vacuum. I have read many stories about that. It is a serious problem. Read outside your limited zone and take Sailor with you.

Stretch, I think this makes your point so even a retarded liberal can understand it:

Key words: acute infection and cytokine Storm.

Rightys are in denial. Here is another study on lingering effects. https://www.advisory.com/daily-briefing/2020/06/02/covid-health-effects If you read health-related stories, not political , you may learn something. This disease is no joke.

As researchers continue to uncover the long list of Covid-19 symptoms, some physicians are beginning to explore the disease's possible long-term effects on patients with more severe symptoms, Lois Parshley reports for Vox. Here's what the research shows so far.

You lose again Nordberg.

You are as usual flat out wrong., I gave a couple of sites. It has been found out for a while now. About 25 percent of Corona sufferers have lingering medical problems. I could provide even more, but do yourself a favor and read a few. There are lots provided by sources like the Cleveland Clinic, Berkley medical and many more. Quit being a jerk and take the time to learn something. That may have lingering effects too.

Doesn't matter. Months ago we knew that with aggressive testing the numbers
would go up. Besides, as I've shown the figures are inflated in the U.S. by the CDC.
Death rate continues to fall......
https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/daily-covid-cases-deaths?time=2020-01-25..&country=~USA
Even your own governor admits increased testing does not account for increased transmission.

Now that Florida is a global epicenter for COVID infection and transmission, it is obvious your attempt to spike the football is the OP was wildly premature

Which means you didn't read "About The Data".......which is what I quoted in my post.:palm:
So Trump reduced the availability of testing so dupes like you could claim that there were fewer cases and deaths than there actually were. You ignored the statement earlier in the article where they stated that deaths were being understated.
