Goya Foods boycott takes off after its CEO praises Trump

AOC has an adobo recipe for you I hear-she's such a piece of work....:)Don't get the "bread" recipes here.....
I'll buy more Goya than usual now, and encourage others to do the same...why? They're a great company....and very "politically responsible", if that is important to you;)

Pushing the incompetent and dangerous trump is not politically responsible. Trump is a portable bomb that should be defused in November.

The products are very good;)

Nope he pushed an incompetent and dangerous man for president. Trump failed in everything he touched. When a CEO makes a speech backing a political candidate, he expects some blowback.

Poor, poor Trumpers.

They are in such a tizzy...so worked up.

They've got to defend the WORST PRESIDENT in America's history...while he is shitting on them and our nation.

In a perverse way, it is actually fun to watch.

Sorry, I disagree....;) Do you know why he was at the White House?

Frank! this isn't about Trump, but you leftists make it so.
That company launched the ‘Can Do’ campaign to benefit Feeding America and donated over 1.5 million pounds of food to families in need across the country.
At their meeting, the CEO Goya Foods announced they have just donated more than 300,000 pounds of food and 20,000 masks in recent weeks, and plans to continue donating additional food and gear weekly, the company said Tuesday.

Hell yeah, boycott the company that hands out your food. Real smart :palm:

So, Pebble by Pebble, you want to stop this:

“... TotalSocial rankings. Through Goya Gives, Goya supports nearly 300 charitable endeavors, programs, scholarships, and events, and donates millions of pounds of food to local food banks and shelters, especially during times of natural disasters such as Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, Superstorm Sandy, and Hurricanes Harvey and Irene. In 2017-2018, the company launched the ‘Can Do’ campaign to benefit Feeding America and donated over 1.5 million pounds of food to families in need across the country. In 2011, President Barack Obama honored Goya for its continued success and commitment to the Hispanic community, the only company to ever be honored by the President. In 2012, Goya collaborated with First Lady Michelle Obama and the USDA to launch the MyPlate/ MiPlato campaign. Goya recognizes the important role businesses play in leading the way for environmental change, and is the largest user of solar energy among Hispanic owned food and beverage companies, ranking as one of the top corporate solar users in the U.S. food and beverage industry."

Are you a racist?

And what has the Dixie Chicks done?

Not sure what you are reading, RB, but it obviously is not the comments in this thread. The OP and the first several contributors made it about Trump...and the Goya CEO's praise of him.

Trump is a maggot (apologies to maggots)...but if people want to praise him, I will defend their right to do so.

And I will treat them as the assholes they are.

We are of one mind on that, right?

This company has a truly altruistic CEO who is an asset to the community.

He said this about the president:

“We are all truly blessed ... to have a leader like President Trump who is a builder," Unanue said during the Rose Garden speech. "We have an incredible builder, and we pray. We pray for our leadership, our president."

Totally accurate. He did not endorse anyone for the presidency, he simply told the truth about this president.

If you don’t like these inconvenient truths, tough.

And they will get triple the business from people who are tired of this liberal whining shit. A win/win for Goya!

Goya Foods, Inc. is an American producer of a brand of foods sold in the United States and many Hispanic countries. It has facilities in different parts of the United States, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Spain. ..

Workers in the US, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Spain would be affected by a boycott of Goya...all because the CEO said some nice, truthful things about the president.

The far left loons are Nazis.

I'll make sure to buy some of their products next time I'm at the grocery store...

Of course, since Leftists tend to live in big cities and apartments they aren't big on buying groceries and doing their own cooking. Take out and delivery are more their style. On top of that, I doubt many Hispanics will take note of this ploy in any case.

I've always purchased Goya in the past because it's good product line...Now that I know more about them, I'll be sure to support them even more;) A house is not a home without Sazon (Goya) in the cupboard, after all;)

The hashtag #Goyaway was trending on social media Friday after Robert Unanue, CEO of Goya Foods, appeared in the White House Rose Garden Thursday afternoon and praised President Donald Trump.

Goya Foods is the largest, Hispanic-owned food company in the United States!

So lets try and put a lot of people out of work because the CEO likes Trump

Dumb cancel culture. We need to start BDS movements of our own. Start with the NFL and NBA.
