Breathing out heavily, for instance through singing or shouting, appears to be a major spreader of Covid-19. Presymptomatic transmission is a huge method of transmission.
Or we can believe Night, the guy who thinks viral pneumonia is just a myth.
Night just keeps the misinformation coming. Nobody receives vaccines against Smallpox anymore. The vaccine killed about two out of every million people, so was dangerous. By surrounding each new outbreak with vaccinations, the WHO was able to eliminate it. There has been no need for a Smallpox vaccine since the 1970's.
To eliminate Smallpox, it needed to be eliminated EVERYWHERE. If it were allowed to exist in Afghanistan, or Angola, it would spread out from there when people stopped being vaccinated. The WHO organized the ringing of all new cases with vaccinations until it was eliminated. No other organization could have brought all of humanity together like that.

A viral load is a measurement of the number of viruses in a specific area. The viral load in the throat peaks a day or two before symptoms show themselves in Covid-19. That means that the number of viruses in a carrier's breath is the highest before symptoms show themselves, but the amount of viruses being sent out might be lower because there is no sneezing or coughing. It still means that someone who is shouting (or singing) can be producing quite a bit of viruses.
In door choir practice seems to be the ultimate super spreader event. A soloist who does not know he or she has Covid-19 will infect most people in an enclosed room.

It sure does. That little thing they put on your finger when the nurse checks you in at your regular check up (takes BP, etc.) checks the oxygen level. Check it before putting a mask on, then after an hour, check it again. I guarantee you the oxygen level in your system will be lower.

We [well, I used to] wear them standing around in the same spot for hours or walking a very short distance. We weren’t supposed to leave the room with them on and we were supposed to dispose of them immediately after use.
Reason being, masks are considered contaminated PPE after any patient contact.

I still talk to them, see their posts on social media and etc. The healthcare community doesn’t ‘speak with one voice’ on a lot of this stuff by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm not surprised by that. Healthcare workers can be as stupid as anyone else. You know, like you. In the face of a mountain of evidence, you are in denial. That makes you either delusional or stupid. Coronavirus is now out of control in this country, and the Federal Government has no plan, no response, other than 'do shit that the President thinks will help him'. Two problems with that. One, that shit is killing people. Two, because that shit is killing people, it will not help Trump, it will not help the country, and it will cause suffering on a scale not seen in this country since WWII. And yet here you are, supporting it. It makes no sense, but the correction is coming. It's sad that Republicans in the Senate are too spineless to remove a guy who is clearly not up to the job.
