This is why I voted for Trump

The 'twitter mob' is not the media. You can't tell the difference? You might want to rethink your participation if you don't get something that simple. Who forced them? Did someone hold a gun to their head? Once again, your poor widdle victim act is as stale as month old bread. So, still waiting for that example of a news outlet labeling someone as racist. Do you need more time little fella? Take all you want.

Try Don Lemon and CNN for starts wimpy. If you can get your head out your ass that long.

The polls actually did a pretty good job. Only 1 state that was NOT labeled a tossup state went against the polls. I really think that the narrative of these incredibly inaccurate polls has been absorbed by the Trumpkins and is now, in their mind, an irrefutable fact. The 'toss up' label was objective, it was the label given to states where the margin in the polls was less than 5%. Some of those states were really easy to predict, but if that's the definition, I can live with it.

The major ones, yes. Even so, many admit failure when the data doesn't prove out....even if it's within the margin of error.

Nobody likes to be taken for granted and, worse, nobody like to be ignored as "nobodies".

Wisconsin is such a solidly blue state that Hillary Clinton didn't feel the need to campaign there in her general-election battle against Donald Trump.

That turned out to be a mistake.

No recent Wisconsin polls showed the Republican presidential nominee ahead of his Democratic counterpart in the Badger State. The RealClearPolitics polling average, which took into account four recent Wisconsin polls, put Clinton ahead by 6.5 percentage points.

But in the early-morning hours after Election Day, Trump was ahead by several points. With 95% of precincts reporting, he was at 47.9% to Clinton's 46.9%. Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson took 3.6% of the vote, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein claimed 1%.

That's why Hillary lost. No question. Bill knew. He wanted her to go there. But she was smug and arrogant and didn't listen to one of the best campaigners ever. Even Minnesota swung significantly, but because Hillary still won it, no one pays much attention to that one. Hillary did BETTER with the coastal types (okay, I'll call them elites because it probably fits) and worse with the blue collar voters that often decide elections. She outperformed in California, but those three states that swung to Trump handed him the equivalent of drawing an inside straight. The climate is now completely different, so I just chuckle every time the 'Hillary 95% to win' trope gets unpacked yet again. Polls are accurate. If they weren't, those pollsters would go out of business pretty quickly.

I said the media lied about Trump’s speech.

Agreed on many points. IMHO, the political climate isn't so different: Each party only has about 30% of the voters; the remaining 40%, the swing voters, have no party loyalty. They don't belong to a "base" and will vote for the best candidate....or for the "lesser of two evils".

In less than 3.5 year Trump has managed to go from being popular with the military to being disapproved. They respect leadership, trust and duty. Traits that Trump clearly does not possess.

I said the media lied about Trump’s speech....

Translation: Any negative reports about Trump are "the media". Any that are positive are people using their First Amendment rights.

Which "media" do you hate the most? Which do you prefer to gather your information from?....or do you get all of your news from Facebook?

I stopped caring what you said. You are totally unable to stay on topic. The post I responded to said absolutely NOTHING about trumps speech or the media. Maybe you're the one that needs to learn to read what you wrote. But do tell, what did the media lie about? Do they claim he said something that he didn't actually say? This should be good.

Have fun defending this:

President Trump’s unyielding push to preserve Confederate symbols and the legacy of white domination, crystallized by his harsh denunciation of the racial justice movement Friday night at Mount Rushmore, has unnerved Republicans who have long enabled him but now fear losing power and forever associating their party with his racial animus.

________

Where did Trump mention [much less laud] the confederacy in his speech?

Did he mention the racial justice movement much less condemn it? Can’t these people read or are they just inveterate liars?

Btw, that is not an opinion piece from WashPO.

Clearly, you didn't see the speech.

He just defended the confederate flag in a tweet today.

He just defended the confederate flag in a tweet today.

He's just tweaking his base......and is delusional enough to think it will help him win.

It appears Trump's campaign strategy is just to replay 2016. He doesn't realize not only are factors different but that the reason he won wasn't entirely "Trump being Trump". Probably not even half of it.

He's going full dog whistle now. He covered all of the bases today - the "Chinese virus," the confederacy, wrongly accusing the NASCAR driver of a hoax, et al. It was his greatest hits.

He's an embarrassment to the greatness of America. I feel confident in saying we will never have a worse President.

The polls did not 'assume' anything. The results of the polling said Hillary would win the popular vote. She did. This had nothing to do with people expressing a different viewpoint publicly. It had to do with a late swing in a couple of states towards Trump. By and large, the polls were correct. I have not seen any Democratic politician making silly nicknames for their political opponents. That's you guys.
