The major ones, yes. Even so, many admit failure when the data doesn't prove out....even if it's within the margin of error.

That's why Hillary lost. No question. Bill knew. He wanted her to go there. But she was smug and arrogant and didn't listen to one of the best campaigners ever. Even Minnesota swung significantly, but because Hillary still won it, no one pays much attention to that one. Hillary did BETTER with the coastal types (okay, I'll call them elites because it probably fits) and worse with the blue collar voters that often decide elections. She outperformed in California, but those three states that swung to Trump handed him the equivalent of drawing an inside straight. The climate is now completely different, so I just chuckle every time the 'Hillary 95% to win' trope gets unpacked yet again. Polls are accurate. If they weren't, those pollsters would go out of business pretty quickly.

Agreed on many points. IMHO, the political climate isn't so different: Each party only has about 30% of the voters; the remaining 40%, the swing voters, have no party loyalty. They don't belong to a "base" and will vote for the best candidate....or for the "lesser of two evils".

In less than 3.5 year Trump has managed to go from being popular with the military to being disapproved. They respect leadership, trust and duty. Traits that Trump clearly does not possess.

Translation: Any negative reports about Trump are "the media". Any that are positive are people using their First Amendment rights.

Which "media" do you hate the most? Which do you prefer to gather your information from?....or do you get all of your news from Facebook?

I stopped caring what you said. You are totally unable to stay on topic. The post I responded to said absolutely NOTHING about trumps speech or the media. Maybe you're the one that needs to learn to read what you wrote. But do tell, what did the media lie about? Do they claim he said something that he didn't actually say? This should be good.

He's just tweaking his base......and is delusional enough to think it will help him win.

It appears Trump's campaign strategy is just to replay 2016. He doesn't realize not only are factors different but that the reason he won wasn't entirely "Trump being Trump". Probably not even half of it.

He's going full dog whistle now. He covered all of the bases today - the "Chinese virus," the confederacy, wrongly accusing the NASCAR driver of a hoax, et al. It was his greatest hits.

He's an embarrassment to the greatness of America. I feel confident in saying we will never have a worse President.

It had to do with a late swing in a couple of states towards Trump. By and large, the polls were correct.
