Senator Franken?

Most of those here celebrating Franken also scream about Hannity and Rush and other like buffoonish symbols of right-wing culture for their support of the war .. but somehow Franken's support for the war doesn't matter. I'm glad Air America failed because Franken used it to support the war .. and got rid of anyone who didn't do the same.

What they aren't capable of doing is looking beyond the "R" and the "D"

Now democrats wildly support an administration that has embraced much of the same policies and people they claimed to hate during the Bush Administration.

The "change" the Mindfuck Master was talking about is changing democrats into republicans .. and he's doing a fantastic job of it thusfar.

I expect that in a couple of weeks democrats will bring back Newt's Contract on America, announce they're "pro-life", seek and end to the tyranny of unions, and declare any nation not standing with Obama hates "our freedoms."

Any Bush official out of a job has a better chance of getting hired by Team Obama then anyone who stood against the war .. which does appear to be the litmus test of the Obama Administration. If you're antiwar, no need to apply.

And "realism" varies depending on where you are in the game.
Facts are even variable depending on how you present them.

Many, many people are always kidding themselves about reality. I see people living in ways that I am sure can never last, spending money like it was hot coal. It never seems to catch up with them.

Ive always thought they were delusional, but, because it never seems to catch up with them... I wish I lived in that reality.

It is indeed fantasy to believe you can shape the truth.

Politics is the art of shaping the truth.
And yes politics is very disgustingly human.
Pure truth has no place in politics.

The impact of the truth of death death can be shaped.
How many innocent people have died in Iraq ?

If you believe that then you should have no argument with Bush/Cheney .. in fact, you should have no argument with any politician ever.

There is no such thing as shaping the truth .. only shaping a lie to appear as truth.

"Pure truth" = truth .. and if you believe that truth has no place in politics then you are the problem, not those who lie for gain.

Where have I said I like politics and politicians ?
Where have I said I like having the truth shaped ?

Never fooled with statistics ?
The truth is McDonalds is the worlds biggest purchaser of cow rectums.
Or at least was a few years ago. not sure on the current beef purchasing statistics.
100% pure beef.

MCDonalds was the biggest purchaser of beef on the hoof and the recutms come along. Now what they do with them afterwards I am not sure.
But how truths are stated lead to conclusions being made.
