Atlanta officers not responding to some 911 calls

I don't know. Did you take an oath? What was it? What did you sweat to do?
I did not take an oath...but I knew what was expected....sweat was not on my mind on the at the time of my hire...but....we didn't ever have AC, so...

LOL. There's another one.

Why do you think it's important that I know understand what officers actually do on a daily basis in order to understand it's wrong to shoot someone twice in the back and then kick them when they lay dying? Why do you think I need to understand the same about teachers to understand that it's wrong to pump eight bullets into an innocent EMT then lie about it on an official report?

It's important if you were to even begin to understand what they do and why...I don't claim to know what you did in the military or why... so why claim to understand a profession you know nothing about?

What happened to the little White Men in White Coats that always used to come and take care of the mentally ill?

They seemed better capable of handling the mentally ill than cops do. Here in Dallas we have had several cop shootings of mental retards through the years. Some cops went to jail.

I remember I was stuck in Kansas once working there out of town.

I went out to go to work at 6:00 Am one morning, when I walked up to a badger between me and my car in the parking lot.

He flashed his teeth and growled at me, and so I just turned around and went back up to the Hotel desk, and reported it. The Clerk assured me she would call animal services, and she assured me they would come and capture the animal and release it back out into the wild somewhere. And she assured me she would warn everyone going out the door to be on the lookout for it.

Well, I went on to work as the thing had moved over to another car.

When I returned from work later on that day, I asked her how it went with the badger. She said she called animal control and they were not there yet, so she just called the police. She said the policeman arrived and just shot the badger dead on the parking lot.

I got pissed and told her, "If I thought that would be the case, I would never had reported it to anyone"!

She said, "Yep, that's exactly how I felt about it!

Unlike you, I'm certain most people on this forum, and IRL, know that they don't have to "understand" what military officers do to understand that murdering a innocent person, even in a combat zone, is wrong. The fact you do not understand the point leads me to believe your moral compass is broken.

Then you were obviously not ever in education...or a similar people-oriented profession;) It's a given....you would know that if you were;)
You didn’t take an oath, and it has nothing to do with not being in education. Teachers do not take an oath.

Are you saying TOP was caught in another lie? I honestly don't know if they do or don't. There are a lot of reasons why they should, at least in public schools.

Not a written oath...It's a given...You're retired from what profession?

If it's given, then it's written sweetheart. What age group are you claiming to teach? Do you know the difference between an oath and a code of ethics? Do you know if teachers have either one?

Not necessary to have a written "oath"....It's what good teachers commit to doing...Do you understand why teachers choose to teach? I guess not...
I taught junior high/middle school and high school jfyi:)
