About 5,000 National Guard troops have been activated in 15 states and D.C. to assist with the response to widespread unrest, the National Guard Bureau said Sunday.

Another 2,000 Guard soldiers and airmen were standing by for possible activation, the Guard Bureau said in a statement. “The situation is fluid so those numbers can change rapidly,” the statement said.

Jurisdictions that activated National Guard personnel are Minnesota, Ohio, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia.

One of these days, the National Guard is going to tell these racist Police Departments that keep killing Black Men with their hands cuffed behind their backs- "YOU GOT YOURSELF INTO THIS MESS, NOW GO GET YOUR OWN SELVES OUT OF IT!

This covid19 pandemic has perhaps humbled our leaders. I was surprised the governor of Minnesota opened each press conference saying the protests has righteousness.
Of course, no governor or mayor wanted violence and arson.

But I think the experience of everyone, all humans, suffering together from the coronavirus pandemic made leaders more sympathetic.

the idiot I just quoted said it yesterday.......he's another proud lefty you don't know.......you don't seem to know very much about the people you are proud of.....

Correct. I don't know much of this "watermark" fella, except when people bring him up. Do you know all people here that you are proud of?

Well, most leaders. Not the orange one, of course. Did you see where Mr. Floyd's brother got a call from the GrandWizard-in-Chief and wouldn't let him get a word in edgewise?

The mayor of Minneapolis is one of Democrats rising new rock stars. Of course Donald Trump realizes this and quickly tried to blame him for the Police not being able to protect it's own Precinct #3 that was burned to the ground on the first night's protests.

Let me tell you why he should not be blamed for the first night's hell that broke out. Firstly, no one could have anticipated the riots,
looting, arson, or even the protests themselves in such short time following the murder of the Black Man by Police.

2ndly, the national guard could not have been dispatched in such short notice.

Other precincts in Minneapolis could not have been dispatched to the scene in such short notice either.

And the mayor that pleaded with the District Attorney to produce arrest warrants quickly, was not in control of their decisions to produce charges or the speed at which they could be made.

And the mayor did ask the public, in a most benevolent way, to remain calm and patient during the process.

And it was not Donald Trump that dispatched them, it was the mayor working with his governor that dispatched the National Guard for the now anticipated riots that could break out during the 2nd night of protests moving forward.

Good job mayor, you did all you could do, in such short time.

Donald Trump and his TRUMPTARDS are just doing their predictable slandering of democrats.

When now we are learning that there is new evidence to suggest through Cell Phone and Social Media sites that Right Wing WHITE NATIONALIST HATE GROUP anarchists are to blame for a lot of the arson and damaging of property during the protests to create Chaos, confusion, and hellbent on creating a race war!

Look at Los Angeles. Fire fighters do not show up until police clear the area and surround them with cops.

Are they going to do anything useful?

So far in Seattle they are not.
