What's the plan, Fox Nation?

WE HAVE NEVER MADE A SUCCESSFUL VACCINE FOR ANY CORONAVIRUS....SUCH AS THE COMMON COLD, WHICH ALSO KILLS VERY FEW OF THOSE EXPOSED TO IT.
They have a vaccine for SARS that works in animals but since SARS is not a significant problem in humans they have not gone to the expense of a human trial. They have given 45 people a COVID 19 vaccine and all 45 have developed antibodies

Food For THought:

How about the immune response? All patients developed neutralizing antibodies, and all of them showed T-cell responses as well (both CD4+ and CD8+). So that’s good – as mentioned, we don’t know what sort of response is needed, but these look significant and dose-responsive, which is all you can ask at this stage. As we get more hard data from the other vaccine efforts, we can compare. But there are some wrinkles in the data. It turns out that 44 to 56% (depending on the patient group) of the people in the study already had high levels of neutralizing antibodies to the Ad5 virus, and the CanSino team found that this definitely hurt the immune response to the spike protein payload. There was also a generally lower antibody response in the older patients (45-60, which prompts me to say “that ain’t so old”). This is something that they’re going to specifically look for as they move into Phase II, especially given how the severity of the disease increases with age.

So this is honestly just about what one would have expected: a real immune response to the Spike protein, but with headwinds from Ad5 antibodies. On to Phase II, where vast amounts of stuff are going to get sorted out

Or maybe never. There is no reason to believe that there will definitely be a vaccine.
its more likely than not. The first vaccine in trials was given to 45 volunteers and none got sick and all developed antibodies. It’s likely to pass the other phases also

The anti-mask & mask-shaming campaigns are successful. And they were just so, so inconvenient, right?

We're opening up. Distancing is now being ridiculed the same way as masks were. No one seems to care much about testing or tracing.

It's a global pandemic. What's your plan, exactly? Anything aside from just letting it run its course through the population, and best o' luck to the seniors and high-risk folks?

I can only speak for myself, but most of the criticisms I've seen weren't specifically about distancing or wearing a mask. Most of the criticism is regarding shutdowns.

You can distance without shutdowns -- as shown by Sweden. This is a much better approach, because you keep the economy going.

Don't act like Dem governors gave a shit about elderly. They were puting Covid19 patients in nursing homes!

normalcy........the antithesis of what you yearn for......

Hey, a Fox viewer chimes in!

I have never, nor will I ever, advocate "forcing" anyone to wear a mask.

But it's a small ask. I have no idea why the same people who want the economy to open faster won't just decide to do it themselves. Moreover, many of those same people have taken to mask-shaming, and making it seem like some major infringement on our freedom and "virtue signaling."

I don’t wear a mask because I decided, for myself, that it was pointless.

Freedom.
