Sissy Trump storms out of Press Conference like a little baby.

It's always up to "We, the People". My advice to the Democrats is to 1) consider that fact when nominating candidates and 2) run better candidates.
You repeat a moot point, that was addressed. I've highlighted the important point of my previous response.

I repeated your point in agreement without the dancing around conspiracy theory. :)

Regardless of what you believe, Gerrymandering by the GOP is a matter of valid, documented fact and history, not a "conspiracy theory". So is the stacking of right wing judges on the Circuit Courts by the Shrub and now Dump. And one has only to look at the SCOTUS appointments by the aforementioned to recognize the FACT, not fiction. Look it up yourself if you don't believe.

To Earl, you said, "You claim to be a smart guy..."

If he is, he is the dumbest smart guy ever to live on this planet.

Indeed!

You just keep jumping from one false narrative to another. Please provide valid documentation of Democratic gerrymandering. Hell, the GOP even diluted the Feds abilities regarding certain Civil Rights laws! The Dems sure as hell didn't. Give me some documented FACTS, my man! I can support what I say. Can you?

I'm content to let sane, calm and educated members of the forum decide for themselves who is lying, making false narratives and, in general, post divisive partisan attacks against those they perceive to be disloyal to their political party.

You can keep your Gish-Galloping and blame me for it. That's what you like to do, isn't it?

What, if anything, is the dem party going to do about it??

I hear an occasional grumble from ppl but from the DNC not to much~next to nothing.:dunno:

Both sides seem to treat it like they do Congressional term limits: Only apply it to the opposition, never to their own people.

Gerrymandering can be used for good, such as giving minorities a singular seat at the big table, or bad, such as subdividing islands of minorities into such small groups that the opposition is guaranteed to wash over them in every election.

I'm certain that most intelligent, educated and sane people understand that a pure democracy on a national or global scale is equivalent to the old maxim of "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding what to have for dinner." Tyranny by the Majority is best tempered by a strongly followed and rights oriented Constitution and also through a Republic. The United States government isn't perfect, but the Founders were wise in their "checks and balances". Too many people on this forum want to impose authoritarian rule by shredding the Constitution for biased political reasons.

In a December 1814 letter from John Adams to John Taylor, Adams wrote this:
Remember Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes exhausts and murders itself. There never was a Democracy Yet, that did not commit suicide. It is in vain to Say that Democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious or less avaricious than Aristocracy or Monarchy. It is not true in Fact and no where appears in history. Those Passions are the same in all Men under all forms of Simple Government, and when unchecked, produce the same Effects of Fraud Violence and Cruelty.

In a 1773 letter from Benjamin Franklin to Jane Mecom (Franklin's youngest, closet sister), Franklin wrote this:
In my own private Concerns with Mankind, I have observ’d that to kick a little when under Imposition, has a good Effect. A little Sturdiness when Superiors are much in the Wrong, sometimes occasions Consideration. And there is Truth in the Old Saying, That if you make yourself a Sheep, the Wolves will eat you.

Sorry Dutchie, but the chronology of the posts makes you out to be a liar and a fool....a fool for thinking you can lie about the chronology of the posts when all can merely backtrack and see different.

Bottom line: you can't logically or factually support your assertions and statements, and when challenged, you just lie and blow smoke. The wheels have come off the wagon of what little credibility you had. No point in wasting further time and space on you here. Adios.

Again, you are wrong, but, also again "I'm content to let sane, calm and educated members of the forum decide for themselves who is lying, making false narratives and, in general, post divisive partisan attacks against those they perceive to be disloyal to their political party."

I hope the sane people of the forum see me as a "rights"-leaning moderate. How do you think they see you?

Tell me about it! Mind you, the GOP blocks any and all action to the contrary....but the DNC in my humble opinion does not fight back hard enough....like galvanizing the people to march, protest, demand.

Yep, I don't understand why we don't see that any more?

As a group, they are complacent and slow to react, but they'll eventually react. I think the body count going over 100K in the next few weeks will get their attention. Likewise for spikes in deaths of cities that opened back to normal.

Sadly, it appears the nation is on track to break 100,000 COVID-19 deaths by next week.
