Because Trump is like a goldfish, he can only really think in terms of the next couple moments. He has no long-term strategic vision because that requires work and he's lazy.

So he thinks opening up the economy right now will mean the economy stays open and persists through the fall...but most people think social distancing needs to continue, and while some businesses might see a brief surge once they open, consumption will drop off shortly after that and we'll be right back to where we are now, only the social distancing will need to last longer.

Fauci expects it to surge again in the fall.

Trump is desperate and out of his mind, because he knows all too well, that there will be a tsunami of lawsuits and possible criminal issues for him to deal with when he leaves office.

NY has been very strict. We don't have the teenie peenie club marching with guns. We've had mandatory masks for a month. Our numbers are dropping, and we are about to open up some segments of our economy.

But...that doesn't mean you'll see unmasked people gathering in hordes like we saw in that Colorado restaurant.

Honestly, not many people have the money to spend on dining out, or binge buying even when the economy opens.

And most people are adhering to social distancing because they don't want to catch and/or spread it.

All those MAGAts are going to burn through their $1,200 socialism checks and then those businesses will all shut down for good because there won't be any other customers.
