Did anyone hear Saint Cuomo lie about Spanish Flu?

You didn’t really expect to get away with that, did you lol?

This virus and our *expert guided responses* to it would have trashed any economy and any president’s economy. IOW, we transitioned from the Trump economy to the Fauci-Birx economy in six short weeks.

How do you like the Fauci-Birx economy so far?

Wow! You realize that you just completely changed YOUR OWN criteria within the course of 2 posts, right?

With Cuomo, it was ONLY results. No consideration of circumstances or extenuating factors. Then, with Trump, it would have "trashed any economy."

That is highly, highly partisan, Darth. You probably aren't even aware that you just did that.

Ph.D. in theoretical physics, author of a couple of scientific texts WHICH I WROTE MYSELF, but not a billionaire (my father wasn't a multi-millionaire, see).

I can't prove any of that, of course. I can prove I'm not POTUS though - does that help?

Sure...lol.

So, you aren’t a multi-billionaire, an author, don’t have a Business Degree from the Wharton School, and you aren’t POTUS.

Quite a resume.

<sigh> Read post #141 again, Earl. I am an "author", and I didn't hire anyone to write those books.

Perhaps the only time in his life when Trump was competing on level terms without the advantage of big $$$$ was in his studies at Wharton. What grades did he get, Earl, do you know? Does anyone?

But you think he loves you, so I see I'm flogging a dead horse here.

He’s a multi-billionaire, an author, has a Business Degree from the Wharton School, and is POTUS.

Your resume?

He is president due to the electoral college. None of the rest is true. Trump has an enormous ego. If he were a billionaire, he would] have opened his taxes. It seems he has something to hide. He paid authors to write books. Trump is very deficient in reading and writing. https://www.phillymag.com/news/2019/09/14/donald-trump-at-wharton-university-of-pennsylvania/
His dad bought him into college and bought his way out.

Nobody knows where it started, but it wasn't Spain.
Many epidemiologists believe that what became known as the “Spanish Flu” in all likelihood took shape in early 1918 in Haskell County, Kansas. Loring Miner, a successful country doctor and health official, first noticed the odd strain of influenza. He had never encountered one like it. The “grippe” tore into residents of the county—the characteristic chills, blinding headache, high fever, hacking cough, and debilitating body aches came on fast, and for some rugged, healthy residents of the county just as rapidly killed them.

Americans were on the move in early 1918, and the flu Miner identified moved with them. In early March, it showed up in the shamefully overcrowded barracks and tents of Camp Funston, Kansas, one of the Army’s hastily and poorly constructed cantonments to train soldiers for action in the war in Europe. At Funston more than several thousand doughboys sickened, dragging themselves to the camp hospital or infirmaries. Thirty-eight died. Those who recovered, and many others who were not sick enough to seek medical treatment, soon boarded trains for other camps further east. Many traveled to Camp Devens, near Boston, and from there to the Western Front. Others spent time at such posts as Camp Pike, on the outskirts of Little Rock, Arkansas. Everywhere they traveled it was like the contagion was packed in their kit.

It’s bullshit even now.

If I can stand in line to get into the hardware store I can stand in line to vote.

That is a good point, but then why does anyone need to stand in a line anyway?? Is something sacred about that??

Be honest Omar, I know deep down you are a fine, decent Muslim man.... The only reason you want to make it more difficult for folks to vote is because you believe it will be in your teams favor, if you/they thought different they would be as passionately for it as they are now against.......:|

Happy Ramadan & Cinco De Mayo........
