So you first said they were quarantined, then you said "ehhh, maybe they weren't, I can't say for sure because there was no mechanism to enforce it".

So they weren't quarantined, then. So why are you saying they were? They weren't even screened when they arrived into the US. So from the airport to their home, they could have infected everyone along the way.


Drumpf implemented travel restrictions and quarantines and declared a national public health emergency, deal with it.

The problem is Trump's half-assed measures did nothing to help, and those half-assed measures were taken too late, and were riddled with exceptions and loopholes, like the 40,000 people who came from China and weren't screened at all.


Again the community outbreaks didn't come from China they came from the EU.

Wait - and it was just travellers from Wuhan, not China?

So now you're all over the place.

You say it was a ban from China, but it turns out it was a ban from that one province, and that ban didn't extend to everyone, as 40,000 people from that province still came here and weren't screened when they arrived.

Then you said they were under mandatory quarantine, yet you also say there was no way to enforce that quarantine, which means it wasn't mandatory, was it?

So you've changed several parts of your argument over the course of just 2-3 posts.

All that retconning sure wreaks havoc with your credibility.

Mandatory would imply some sort of mechanism to enforce the mandate. Like a penalty, or a fine, or something.

You literally said no enforcement mechanism exists.

I said Wuhan from the outset that was the epicenter of the outbreak and was on lockdown for domestic travel.

NPR said it was mandatory but I'm not aware of the legal enforcement mechanism.
