What would be your next step?

Teflon Don

I'm back baby
Let's walk through a scenario here. I would love to know what our Wikipedia trained infectious disease experts from the left would recommend doing

You have a fever of 102.3, cough, chills, fatigue, runny nose, sniffles, body aches, sore throat and generally feel like shit. You present to your physician and she does an influenza test and it comes back negative. She then does a COVID19 test because you are really, really scared. It comes back negative. You aren't sick enough to be admitted to the hospital

The question is NOW WHAT?

What do you do next? What is the next step?

I am limiting thread bans so all of our esteemed infectious disease experts from the left can participate and share their diagnostic skills

It appears that the Wikipedia trained infectious disease experts from the left are hiding beneath their desks, T.D., as usual when inconvenient questions are asked.

It's also possible that the thread concept is a strawman, and that no one has claimed to be a doctor on the board.

BTW, I didn't claim anyone was a doctor. One does not need to be a physician to be an expert in infectious disease.

But, all you had to say was that you are too big a pussy to answer. It would have been easier for you

He is too big a pussy to answer the question you asked, apparently.

That's easy, go with what the Docter you saw recommended, can't say I've ever left a physicians office without them offering advice

Personally. I would suspect that my condition was not viral but rather bacterial in nature.

So I would ask for an antibiotic to kill the bacteria. take a fever reducer, grab a book and head to bed for the next few days!

But that's just me!

What would make you believe it was bacterial?

What antibiotic would you want to have? Do you think you would have a gram negative or gram positive antibiotic?
