what is wrong with the reopening?

Who has labeled Texas murderers for opening businesses for pickup? Governor Abbot has made a very strategic, medically sound plan to reopen the state.

As it should be, sound science, good data collection, policy decisions made weighing costs and benefits. Not sure what more one can ask
other than insist on a value judgment at odds with public opinion and of course, improve our data set over ours which is void of adequate testing
informing it.

It’s Bigdog...he is a great American.

He seems to have trouble dealing in Reality.
He likes to make shit up.
Then, he begins talking about the shit he's just made up as tho it was REAL.
(I think it was an extended use of pharmaceuticals at an early age)

:dunno:

Yesterday was miserable here.

I need to get out. I’m getting off this damn thing and go scope out a new trail a local mountain bike club has been working on here in a bit.

Well we do have something in common. I like to bike also. I don't trail ride. What is that, a Cannondale?

Please refrain from the improper use of the upper case, Jacky.

You have no clue as to the veracity of Bigdog’s posts.

He appears to be an educated person who is not a drone, Jacky.

That's untrue- so makes no sense. However, Earl has ' Thanked ' you for it so it's designated a post not worth bothering with.

Common knowledge the death rate in Italy is very high, other places less so. What we do matters, negating that
is the point PImp loves to sell. Pretty much applies it to everything. DEms bad/nothing matters anyway. That's the theme.

I wish lol.

GT Ricochet. I’m a road rider that transitioned to mountain and I didn’t want to drop 5k on a bike till I was sure I was sure I was going to indulge the hobby. I’ll never go back to the road now. Too many texters on the road and I love trail riding.

Thaks Earl, but Jack's personal insults are meaningless and empty. He has lost his soul and only has his virtue signaling to fill the hole.

Acknowledged, Big dog.

Jacky is harmless, he has entertainment value and he is not mean-spirited as I have sometimes suggested.

He is, of course, morbidly misguided, politically, but all liberals are.

What's stopping you? I get out daily.
What do you want?

A medal or a chest to pin it on?

Is that what you want? A medal? Would a gold star do?

You make a whiny post and then have a hissy-fit when advised to do exactly what you claimed you wanted to do? WTF?

OK nobody is up yet and you have me motivated. Think I'll go now. Enjoy your trail run. Yes, road riding is harrowing. I avoid highly trafficked
roads without bike lanes. Nothing worse than clicking out of clipless at a busy intersection and timing all that with your head on a swivel. I'll just get on
my fuji traverse knockaround and have a slow /low pressure ride. Kind of like a beach cruiser experience now with nobody driving so much.
See ya.

Exactly. That's why our leaders were put into their positions: to become informed and lead the public in the correct direction.

As the Houston mayor pointed out in his support for Governor Abbott, it doesn't do us any good to open too soon, see a spike in infections and have to shut everything down again.

Lets talk about reopening the economy for a bit.

Take Texas for example. They say that retailers can open but only for pick up products. Similar to how food operates right now. They of course have been labeled as murderers who careers got about the economy more than human life. Now since your already taking that risk for food and it seems its not significantly increasing the infection what is wrong with their order?
How, exactly will this work in small business stores? Is the merchandise online for you to order, then pick up? Do you window shop and they pick the merchandise for you? I’m curious to know how this will be done? I don’t think enough consumers are going to be confident enough to make this work. It will be interesting to see how it’s implemented.

We can’t open up before we know Trump has been sufficiently damaged by this, comrade.

Quite so. However, the longer the lockdowns go on in Blue states, the higher their taxes will rise as a result.

Nattering Nancy knows this, so she's desperate to get the SALT deduction restored. That's a major reason she refused to allow the re-funding of the relief for small businesses.
