Personally, I think government help should only be rendered where needed, and on a case by case basis. This "free money for everybody" business is BULLSHIT. WTF are we paying unemployment insurance for?

thats a good point.

I think there is gonna be a cutoff at 95k for receiving it.

all of this is gonna cause massive inflation. all the mentative categories break down in true reality.

Hold on, there are multiple threads on this board calling people on the right hypocrites because the $1K checks were floated as a policy idea and now you complaining that people on the right aren’t supporting it?

Read again. I'm pointing out that yes, there are (R) Senators who are against it and prefer that any federal $$ go to their buddies in commerce, not to citizens. I personally think it's too early to be tossing stimulus checks around. I'm not against them when necessary, but only to bail out businesses that are essential. Air travel and airlines are essential. Resorts. Trump properties, and cruise lines, not so much. The Bush/Obama bailouts were necessary.
