The bigger point is the respective death RATES. As far as we can tell at present, Covid-19 is 10-100 times more lethal than seasonal flu.
Conceivably that assessment may change, but so far it hasn't. We can't just ignore it, or pick speculative figures that support what we WANT to believe.
