Here is one American tradition that isn't going to be slowed any by the coronavirus,

Cause it seemingly happens every week, so much so America has become desentized, a distinction not found in the rest of the developed nations in the world, an American tradition unique to America

Really? Do you have any data to prove it happens every week? Do you have any evidence that America has become desensitized to mass murders? Do you even have a point?

Explain it to him as you would a child.

Ironic coming from someone who needs EVERYTHING explained to him.

Why don't you give it a shot; How is this American tradition? So you have a whacked out criminal shooting up people and you claim this is tradition? How?

What does this have to do with corona virus?

It happens so often that it seems like an American tradition. How hard is that for you to understand? He doesn't mean it's a tradition as in celebrating July the 4th, dummy.

Coronavirus scare is what racks up gun sales and it might cause insane people to come out of the woodwork.

The Gun Industry Says It Has Grown 158% Since Obama Took Office

The gun industry published a report saying it’s not only doing just fine, but has actually grown by 158% since 2008. The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for firearms manufacturers, reported that the total economic impact of the firearms and ammunition industry in the U.S. increased from $19.1 billion in 2008 to $49.3 billion in 2015. The NSSF also reported that, in that same time period, the total number of full-time jobs related to gun making in the U.S. rose from about 166,000 to almost 288,000.

Yes but actually it was the media who spread the scare that Obama was gonna take their guns away.

The reason you need a gun is because people who do not have a gun say they will try to steal from you? And they told you this freely, but only in a secret place where none of us can see it?

OK, it is only common sense that people who are stockpiling guns are planning to use them for something. There might be some real collectors out there, but many of these people are buying massive numbers of guns with no collectable value. Now people who are not stockpiling guns can honestly say they have no plans of using guns.

And what would they be "planning" on using them for??

it was done on this very forum

and i'm guessing that you think self defense of home and family OR fulfilling the 2nd Amendments purpose are things you don't agree with?

YEP and who in the hell was that; because I don't remember the poster, but I do remember him saying they would burn the house down if others wouldn't share the food they had.
