There is a large electorate of Black voters in the South. They are conservative and religious, like their White counterparts.

Because, the Landlord collects enough rent to pay the Property Tax for that piece of Property. It's part of the Expense write-off. (you know, like if the Landlord pays the Water Bill, he writes that off as an Expense)

Where did I say renters?

In the case of renters, those renting aren't paying the taxes unless you can show me a bill a renter gets where they are billed in their name.

Larger, yes, but not dominant. African-American voter turnout is about the same as Euro-Americans and, as you pointed out, there is a higher density of African-Americans in the South, but even in Mississippi which has a very high density population of African-Americans, they only number about a third of all Mississippians. Other states are mostly less. An important demographic, but women are more important and underrated while, IMO, the African-American vote is overrated.

The Landlord gets the Bill. And the Landlord pays the Bill. The Money for the Bill is part of the Rent.

Whites in the South tend to Vote Republican.
Blacks in the South tend to Vote Democrat.

So, in a Democratic Primary, Blacks have a large influence and will Vote for a more conservative candidate. I can completely understand why Bernie skipped Mississippi and concentrated on Michigan.

I've said what I meant. That's when you claimed I meant renters.

So you admit the renters don't get a tax notice. Good. You're starting to get it.

The Renters may or may not be aware that they are paying the Property Tax of the Dwelling they live in.
