Dems really picked the wrong horse

He has flaws & weak points, as does everyone...

What we don't see?? trump sees something, it is Biden he fears most, prob for good reason...

Rarely does the best candidate win, it is a popularity contest.....

I kinda dread watching their first debate (assuming he wins)~ two old farts struggling to recall facts & Joe missing several ops to show him up....

IMHO President Amy doesn't exactly ring but she would have been better going against him
she was the strongest opponent. Moderate liberal, midwestern, woman

Bernie is rallying his supporters fervently:

he lied about plagiarism

He lied about Nelson Mandela

Those are just off the top of my head - he has been caught lying plenty

Two in 50 years is not plenty. Biden does gaffes. Trump lies as a practice.. When Biden decided to run, I knew Trump made it possible. You cannot attack Biden for what he says when Trump is worse than him by multiples. Trump is also a mean person who stomps on anyone that gets in his way. The point is Biden V Trump removes veracity from the equation.

Off topic but saw they shut down the Elk Grove school district

Yep, sad & many ppl are very pissed about it but many feel it was necessary as it would be bad if someone got sick.

Of course tons of ppl are already sick of other flu types..........

I still can’t understand why with all of the candidates the democrat party had to choose from why the establishment was fixated on Biden.

He has so many flaws. The groping. The obvious mental decline which they will not be able to hide. Remember when Hillary collapsed and then she didn’t spend a lot of time on the campaign trail? That is what cost her Michigan and Wisconsin.

Say what you want about Trump but he is indefatigable. Biden will not be able to hang with him. And his gaffes will catch up with him. Hell he can’t even remember Obama’s name some times

The only thing I can think of is that the democrat party is so scared shitless of Trump making inroads with black voters that they believe Biden is their only backstop with that group.

Personally I think it is a bad bet. They should have gone with Bernie
Jesse Jackson just endorsed Bernie. That seems odd.

He lied several times when he told crowds the truck driver that hit his first wife and kill her and his kids was drunk. The highway patrol on the scene said the accident was caused by Biden's wife and the truck drive had not been drinking.

I don't think you geddit, Nordberg. Biden has got incipient dementia;he is in a state of progressive cognitive decline. His brain is rapidly turning into sauerkraut. What the leftist media refer to as his stream of endearng "that's-judt-Joe" gaffes are not amusing. They are the symptoms of a degenerative brain ; i.e; senile dementiia: forgetfulness , impaired short-term memory, confusion, agitation, sudden mood swings, aggressiveness.

I watched Biden speaking publicly last week and he forgot the words to Jefferson's famous passage from the preamble to the Declaration of Independendence, you know the section that says...

" We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are are all endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights among which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"."

Now, that is arguably the most famous and well-known verse in the entire American Creed. Kids in American elementary schools and high school have it drummed into their head for years. They are like the words the the American national anthem - you don't just forget them.

If anyone should know Thomas Jefferson's passage above, it is a senior professional like Biden, who is campaigning for his Party's Presidential nomination. There is no excuse for Biden blurting out the first four or five words and then totally forgetting the rest of what Jefferson said, except that his is afflicted with cognitive decline from a degenerative brain disorder like dementia or perhaps incipient Altzheimer's Syndrome.

This was confirmed for me again last we when he was on stage celebrating a Super Tuesday win. His wife and sister were at his side, and when he said to the crowd that he'd like to introduce them he got them mixed up- mistaking his sister for his wife and vice versa. That's just not something any person with normal mental functioning would do.

The professional Democratic establishment who have backed Joe Biden in the race for nominee must know that his cognitive capacities are seriously compromised and clearing a path for him- (as they have done) - to run as the Democrat's centrist/moderate Presidential nominee was an extroardinary cruel and mercenary strategy.

Does anyone seriously believe that if Biden clinched the Democratic Party's nomination he would have a snowball's chance in Hell of taking on Trump head-to-Head in Presidential debate. Trumop is a political street-fighter with razor sharp instincts. It would be a bloodbath.

But that's what the Democratic establishment are banking on, Nordberg. You see, to understand what is going on right now in the Democratic candidate's race for nomination you have to understand that that the professional Democratic Party establishment EXPECTS that Trump is going to win the Nov 2020. They're reconciled themselves to that. What they're focussed on doing now is (1) making sure that Sanders does win the nomination, and (2) Making sure that Biden does. If Sanders wins the nomination, he'll be Trashed by Trump in the Nov 2020 election. No one gives a shit about that; lots of people DO give a shit about is that if Sanders wins the nomination, the Democratic Party will subsequently fracture and it will spell the end for the current Democratic establishment which is a centrist/moderate coalition. There are a lot of individual,s and organisations livlihoods vested in making sure that Sanders does not become the Democratic Party's nominee.

It's kinda hard to explain in detail, but I can. If you want me to explain what I'm talking about in more detail, Nordberg just ask

Biden can definitely beat Trump, but I don’t know if he was the strongest out of all of the candidates in the past year to run.
