Meet Flippi, you new burger flipper and response to high min wage

Like the OP said, automation is cheaper. I'm sure there are some exceptions, but for the most part the cost of automation will always be lower. This is also why so many companies outsource. Having your stuff made in a sweatshop will almost always be cheaper than having it made in America.

Automation and a sweat shop are the same thing?

Again, it is only cheaper when the human cost is higher. I do wish you were educated.

Outsourcing has nothing to do with automation. I do wish you were educated.

Which is what, 90% of the time?

That depends on the industry. It is currently a LOT cheaper to hire low cost workers to pick strawberries than invent a machine that can do it without damaging the berries.

However, start bloviating that they should get a "living" wage immensely out of proportion to the skills they bring; it will happen. Much like the burger example.

I found it refreshing when SOmad (aka Nomad) admitted that the leftist narrative over a living wage is based on lies.

Don't most countries with sweatshops have free health care?

Things like Flippi don't come around until the cost to pay people doing the flipping far exceeds the skill level to do the job.

When outsourcing is done and it involves humans still doing the work, while it's based on costs, it's based on human costs not automation.

No, that wasn't your argument.

My argument is that companies will always choose automation because it's cheaper. I compared it to sweatshops in that companies also often use sweatshops because they're cheaper than paying Americans.

You're trying to compare apples and oranges.
