By "Corporate Socialism," I mean all of the things the government gives to the 1%.
The government doesn't give the 1% anything.
By "Corporate Socialism," I mean all of the things the government gives to the 1%.
So is that Socialism too? And does anyone ever ask how are we going to pay for this?
Anyway, the point is that we can redirect this money into Bernie's healthcare policy. The money is there, it's just a question of whether or not we think everyone is entitled to healthcare.
The wealth that America created belongs to those who created it.
Income redistribution is evil.
Earn your own wealth.
They are given billions in subsidies. So yes, they're given money.
.....but it's still help from the government. How is that ok, but helping the working-class is Marxism?
And has it really been so long since Wall Street was bailed out that we all forgot already? Why was that "Socialism" alright, but erasing college debt is the "Socialism" we should all fear?
One of the reasons I respect Ron Paul is because he's one of the few Republicans to acknowledge this hypocrisy.
The wealth that America created belongs to those who created it.
Income redistribution is evil.
Earn your own wealth.
What does that mean? Bernie seeks a fairer and more equitable sharing of the wealth American workers have created. Out of the top 29 industrial nations, only one does not t supply universal healthcare. It is the richest one. That money exists in the system. We ship it to the top 1 percent. That can be corrected.
Rightys love a plutocracy. They apparently want to be told what to do by the wealthy. Perhaps they subscribe to the idea that the rich have, that God chose them to have all that money and power. But the left does not understand why rightys vote against their own security and interests so often.
It is way past time to stand up to the plutocrats who are remaking the country for their benefit. It is not for you. They do not care a whit about the masses. And the rightys cannot figure that out.
You think Fox is objective, and you call me a hack.
That's awesome.
Did I say they were objective? You make a claim that they are a campaign arm of Trump. I point out with facts that you are wrong and like you always do, you move the goalposts.
You said that Fox is a campaign arm of Trump. If that were true why would Cavuto, Wallace and Napolitano be allowed on air?
If you can’t answer I will understand.
Obfuscation. It's an old tactic.
Again; they aren't given anything. Subsidies are not GIVING companies anything. They are letting them RETAIN more of what they EARN. This is only rocket science to the uneducated.
They aren't getting help from the Government. Companies do not want "help" from Government. The citizens should not want "help" from the government. It comes at a great cost to all of us.
If you want to help the working class, get Government out of the way and allow companies to do what they do best; create products and services we all want and most importantly, lots of jobs.
Once again; that was Government intervention. And on this we can agree, it is always a BAD idea.
Ron Paul is an economic idiot, much like you are, so it stands to reason you would agree with him and like his policies.![]()
There's a simple answer to your healthcare question. No
The government doesn't give the 1% anything.
If you don't care about human life, then ok, at least you're honest. But saying we shouldn't have it because it's "Socialism" is inconsistent.
"Johnston cited several examples of corporate socialism. In Lockport, N.Y., Yahoo is receiving $2 million for every job it creates in the area, which pay on average $45,000 annually. Alcoa is currently receiving $5.6 billion in electricity discounts from New York state, which would be better spent decreasing utility rates for residents across the state. Boeing has received billions in subsidies to build a plant in South Carolina, while transparency remains elusive regarding the exact worth of the subsidies and incentives the company received. In his 2007 book "Free Lunch," Johnston discusses how a corporation like Cabela's received $32 million in government subsidies to build, at the time, the largest outdoor recreational gear store in the country in Hamburg, Pa., while a local competitor who sold the same products at lower prices went out of business because of the deal."

What a moronic adhom; if we don't agree with State Run healthcare, we don't care about human life.
