States have never had a say when it comes to Protecting the nation and setting foreign policy. It's not about exceptions dimwit.

First of all, he's one person. Secondly, it's not so crazy to say healthcare is the first priority, and then we can talk about future plans to improve the country. Personally, I think we should have UBI, I don't think people should get free cars. People are going to disagree on what should be free and what shouldn't. It's a fallacy to say that once we all have healthcare, everyone will want everything to be free. Even now, there are some people who want UBI but don't think we should have free healthcare. It's not a black and white thing.

And, the farmers were hurt directly as a result of the government's trade war. GM was hurt only because of themselves (well, the union).
Saving GM saved millions of jobs.
Bailing out farmers saved nothing.
It cost us $30B.
And unlike the auto bailouts, will never be paid back because the rural trash people are deadbeats.
