That's why the "two consenting adults wanting to get married" defense is invalid. There are many that argued same sex couples should be able to get married because both were adults, they loved each other and both consented. Pose the option of two adults that love each other with both consenting that happen to be related and those using the two consenting adults argument run the other way in defending it. Also, pose the same argument when it happen to be a polygamous lifestyle and the same happens.
What that means is the two consenting adults argument for homos is nothing but one of special treatment.
For the record, I don't support incestuous marriages or polygamy but those using the consenting adults argument should if that is their true stance. According to the scenario in your post, if both are consenting, why would the same sex marriage supporters oppose it?
