A second federal prosecutor who had been working the Roger Stone case resigned from the Department of Justice on Monday.

Aaron Zelinsky, who had worked for special prosecutor Robert Mueller, was the first reported to have resigned on Tuesday.

He was followed by Jonathan Kravis, who was not a member of Mueller’s team.

The resignations came after Attorney General Bill Barr’s DOJ disavowed the sentencing recommendation for Stone made by prosecutors after President Donald Trump weighed in on the case.

Another Roger Stone prosecutor -- Jonathan Kravis -- "has resigned as an Assistant United States Attorney and therefore no longer represents the government in this case."

There is an organized crime ring running the show with Barr the cover-up artist at the helm. I blame the entire government with the exception of a few.

Why was no bankster held accountable for 2008 Wall Street Debacle?

Why did Bush, Cheney and Rice not stand trial at the Hague?

Shining city on the hill my ass! Both parties are culpable, but the left to a bit lesser degree.

The President complains that his friend is being given too harsh a sentence and so the Justice Department backs off?

That is CORRUPTION. This has to end.

They seem to have resigned in order to speak freely about the corruption. They are calling they USA a banana republic. Meet the new Justice Department.

Adam Schiff lied to congress and the American people, ... and blocked witnesses like the WB and Hunter.

These prosecutors use high profile cases to further their own careers . Now they are seeing their over charging Stone will be seen as a negative rather than a positive. If Stone had not been friends with Trump his sentence would not been as hard. Their boss made his displeasure with their performance of their jobs known. That is a reason they quit the case.
