Good story. The President is arguably the most powerful, or close to it, person in the world. So it's understandable why we pay so much attention to what they do. Yet at the same time they don't control every facet of our life. I just see one either being happy or unhappy in life based on whether they like or dislike the President as not a good recipe.

He has taken MAJOR STEPS to free up investment and expansion. It worked.

Feel free to keep pretending it was not a major factor in our current economic success, and in turn keep pretending that economic security is not s HUGE PART of people feeling good about their lives.

Liberals seem to be crediting Trump for their sad lives. Conservatives credit a good economy for supplementing their happiness, not necessarily Trump. There are other aspects to happiness, too.

Women are often happier after divorce, while men are often more depressed. Women often get the emotional support network in the divorce, so to speak. Men's suicide rate after divorce ticks up, while women's rate ticks down.

When an economy is booming, as ours is, jobs and rising wages affect the personal finances of everyone...except those on welfare.

I generally credit myself when I do well, not a politician. Now if a politician specifically gave you a job that might be a different story but for most people if you spent years going to school, working your *ss off etc. why would you credit a politician for your success?
