Fair enough at what point are they responsible for themselves, I believe in a hand up, not cradle to grave welfare. You need to face the facts that one side of the ideological spectrum has been clinging to illegitimate power since the 2000 election, and doing everything they can to maintain that hold on power, knowing that if they relinquish it, the horrors of their belief systems will be known and they're fearful of being treated the way they have treated everyone else.
