A charter flight back in 2009ish--destination Bahamas--a plane full of REP
pols, I assume men, and their donor class. Hookers were hired to accompany them. Lots and lots of nerves about details of that trip making it into a book! My guess is they wanted to SHUT HIM UP as he did a TV interview saying he had to look out for himself and his family and needed to make money.
Another year transpires, and he pleads guilty "moments before" JURY selection was to start for his trial. He agrees to 4 years in jail as I remember. Then poof, just before he was to report to jail, he got a get out of jail free card.
Anyone wanna guess who the ATTY GENERAL of the State was? MS. BONDI claims she had NOTHING to do with the deal, had no input--had turned it over to a prosecutor in Tampa and he claimed he never talked to her about any of it. You believe that don't you?

Adulation is so odd in American folklore. We were/are a free people who make our own way but somehow Trump has managed to control the republican conservatives? How does he do it as he failed in all his businesses and lies with every other sentence. It is amazing. One person, an apolitical friend, told me recently they never understood the appeal of Hitler until they witnessed the Trump rallies. I never understood the right wing spin doctors advice to have a bit of a smile in your booking photo. What innocent person is happy to be arrested? It would be one of the worst moments in an innocent person's life, and they would be quite upset. It just looks creepy to me.
This is a good example. This is a man who is not upset to be arrested. He accepts that as part of the life of crime he choose to live.
