And yet we haven't lost our freedom. So there ya go, all of the Incels can calm down and go back to masturbating to Belle Delphine.
In most states, you haven't lost your freedom. In some, you really have.

Which is good, but cops do have access to weapons that the rest of us don't. They're also allowed to carry guns in areas that the rest of us aren't. Part of having police is giving them a level of power the rest of us don't have.
We already do that by making fully automatic weapons illegal, unless you have a FFL or if you pay an exorbitant amount for a really old one.
If that were true, then we'd have a lot more mass shootings than we currently do. There are thousands upon thousands of those owned by the public right now. Also, most mass shootings are done with handguns.
In most states, you haven't lost your freedom. In some, you really have.
Which states would you say the people don't have freedom?
define 'freedom', because you obviously don't consider infringements on certain constitutional rights as something that hampers freedom
Yeah, I don't care about muh constitution.
this pretty much tells me that you don't like freedom. it scares you. you prefer subjugated slavery by a government that gives you permissions with the promise of security theater.
No, it means that I know muh constitution doesn't secure our freedom. It's a piece of paper used as propaganda. Every president ignores it.
thus the reason for the 2nd Amendment and why every gun law is unconstitutional. presidents, congress, judges, states, even counties and cities can't ignore their limitations if they can be met with deadly force for trying
then you don't understand freedom...........nor do you understand the balance of power. No, having guns doesn't make us more free.
But the fact that everyone ignores muh constitution just shows how useless it is. Trump is probably going to keep his job because muh constitution doesn't force politicians to do the right thing.
then you don't understand freedom...........nor do you understand the balance of power.
the constitution gets ignored for two reasons.......people like you don't care about 'muh' constitution, or people are ignorant of the constitution. then to top it off, most of y'all rip in to the people who DO care and understand it with labels of 'crazy'...........so you're probably just beyond help.
examples?I understand that, historically speaking, an armed citizenry has been more likely to cause tyranny, not prevent it.
absolutely, because people don't seem to understand how guerilla warfare works. of course if we had machine guns and other infantry hand held weapons, we wouldn't need to worry about having to defend ourselves from government. And really, do you think your guns are any match for the military?
because of that balance of power. were any group of people to decide to resist an 'unconstitutional' act against them, you (and many like you) would immediately brand them terrorists. the media would blare it 24/7, so much so that victory would almost be impossible. There are way more people who claim they care about muh constitution than people like me. And still, it hasn't succeeded in holding politicians accountable.
When Bush enacted the Patriot Act, there was no backlash from an armed militia of constitution-lovers. Same thing with Obama and his drone program. I'm positive that when Trump is let off the hook for the Ukraine scandal, it will be the same.
this pretty much tells me that you don't like freedom. it scares you. you prefer subjugated slavery by a government that gives you permissions with the promise of security theater.
The Second Amendment did NOTHING to end slavery... Remember?
But we also have accessories that make it extremely easy to kill large groups of people.
Well America does have more mass shootings than any other first world country.
Which states would you say the people don't have freedom?
In any state that has red flag laws, your gun rights are subject to the discretion of the police. All it takes is an accusation made against you, and your guns can be seized. Most red flag laws don't allow much in the way of due process.
Eventually, you might get your guns back, but it's a long and arduous process most of the time. It's kind of similar to how abusive civil asset forfeiture laws typically are.
