It's demonstrably false that liberals or Democrats can't be racist? That's almost a surreal comment. In fact one could say the lack of self awareness of such a statement is a big contributor to racism in this country.
This country and the world is bigger than black and white but since that's what we're talking about I read black progressive writers. Not because I agree with them but to hear their viewpoints. Yeah, just like in South Africa after apartheid when the Black mob voted convicted terrorist and mass - murderer, Nelson Mandela, and his communist ANC party into power. Things started going downhill very fast after that and if you check out the state of the government,economy, infrastructure, social services, crime-rate, etc; in The Rebublic of South Africa today you'll find its on the brink of going the way of Venezuela. Where it not for its rich, natural resources - which even the Blacks can't fuck up - SouthAfrica would be yet another failed Black African state like Zimbabwe, Uganda, Ethiopia etc; were/are.
