You people need to keep your images of electoral landslide to yourself. Too many people are going to say it and wake up the idiots that voted for Bush to get to the polls. (Explanation: Not ALL people who voted for Bush are idiots, some of you here voted for him and not all of you are idiots. However, all idiots voted for Bush, and some of you in here fit this catagory as well. You ALL know who you are.)

I doubt they would know. Most people feel like geniuses regardless of their actual gifts.

nothing is going to stop Obama from winning at this point. The game is over. The only question now is how big a victory does he get.

Yeah, by going out and panic mongering Bush has pretty much ensured a victory for Obama.

I hate this bailout. It's taken us this long to get here, let's take some time to figure out a way to get out of it without taking our debt to over 10 Trillion....

I feel like most of the US has been taken in by an aluminum siding salesman...

The game isn't over till the fat lady sings and the votes are counted. Many things could happen between now and election day. We don't know how far the right is willing to go yet in order to stay in power. Obviously this financial mess wasn't supposed to hit until after the election so the cons could blame it on the dems. That blew up in their faces. So what's their next move? Maybe a 'terrorist' attack somewhere to raise the fear level? I think the fear card is the only one they have left. They're really good at it, let's see if they use it. I hope not, but we'll see.

If there is one thing I have learned over the years, its that what it looks like before the election and what it looks like after the votes are all counted are usually very different things.

Its over when its over. Still a lotta time before we go to the polls.



But I expect which ever side loses to scream about having the election stolen.

I'm tired of that crap. Any election that doesn't go their way will forever be "stolen" for both of the major parties. Soon I'll be sick and tired of hearing "Florida" every election year too.

Actually I think it was timed to hit before the election and just be passed by the dems with them and Bush taking the blame.

Did not quite work out that way thought did it ?
