I think it dies when the session ends although it can be introduced again in the new session (probably without being required to hold new hearings).

uh, dude....every lawyer knows the answer to that question.....at the end of that term of congress all unpassed bills expire..........it starts from scratch, if anyone wants to bother starting over......
