Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law a new piece of legislation that guarantees all students will receive lunch even if their parents or guardians have not paid their meal fees.
The bill, authored by state Sen. Robert Hertzberg, says students shouldn't be denied a meal of their choice because of unpaid fees.

I got school lunches for only the 7th and 8th grades. Don't even remember if we had to pay or not. The other ten years I had to bring it. No reason the parents can't pack a lunch. If they can't afford the school lunches they must qualify for food stamps. . If they don't they should be reported to social services for child neglect.
Laziness on the parents, pure and simple .

Donald Trump hates California because the majority of Californians voted for Hillary! And Appellate Judges in California have ruled that several of his immigration policies were against the Constitution. So Donnie, being the man child and crooked president that he is, berates California at every chance sending dog whistles to hateful idiots like Textdriver to help spread his hatred for him.

And so now OPie boy uses our forum to spread their hateful and inciting rhetoric to the other emotionally disturbed forum members like Earl, Teflon Don, Truth Deflector, Sailor, Prophet, etc. and etc.

This problem is more serious than most people can even imagine. Here we are with the state of California on fire again and fires are starting faster in areas than the firefighters can put them out.

It, really makes me wonder if some disgruntled person like TEXT DRIVER that loves Donnie so much, and hates California so much to please his daddy Trump, that he is the one, or another hater like him, is out there starting these fires.

Schools should be sure that no students go hungry-ever...I don't know of any that don't....But apparently Cali schools don't care...and do shame....or they wouldn't need a law....

Wrong; PARENTS should be sure that their children do not go hungry-ever. Schools are there to educate; something they are failing badly at as well.
