Tough luck for Bernie.

I only feel bad for Bernie in that he had his chance ripped away from him by the DNC last election.

Super delegates picked Hillary, not based on anything except "THEIR" view on who could win.

that goes against the very fabric of what we are as a country. If the people liked Bernies ideas better then so be it. But Hillary was their chosen one so, sorry Bern.

And they will do it again, only this time they have managed to get their voting base behind their undemocratic process.
No one , no one certainly that I know cares 2 $hits what a candidate stands for, how he or she plans on advancing this great country.
They are going pick who the DNC tells them , based on their already proven to be wrong theory can beat Trump. So they can stand in the town square and dance victory over Trump.

It's a sad time to be a liberal today, a sad time

Super wrong as usual. Bernie did not have a chance. He was way behind. He was not a Dem, yet the Democratic party allowed him to debate with Hillary on their dime. They took an obscure Vermont independent and gave him national recognition. Bernie owes the Dems a lot.

Translation: I'll wait till it all plays out, then I'll pick whichever side wins.

1. Talk about who doesn't have 'cajones'.
2. You have earned the name 'Taidouche'.
3. Why do you even bother coming to a Politics Forum?

Post #88 and #92 demonstrates the intellectual dishonesty and impotence of our Jackie boy here. He deteriorates to a "I know you are but what am I?" retort. Pathetic.

Say goodnight Gracie.

Bernie has a bigger problem than his health. Totally aside from all the reservations about his age and health looms the question of honesty and responsibility to the American people as a leader.

Americans don't like the way the news was presented. First it was said he had chest pains, and got two stents. OK, that's understandable enough. It's a common procedure. Most people are out of the hospital in a day or two, and the new circulation often gives them new energy which has been missing. This was the general expectation following the initial news.

But then we learned he was not released from the hospital so quickly. The public was left to wonder what is going on. Time dragged by with no news. Not good!

Finally, a week goes by, and the public is told the truth that Bernie actually had a heart attack. This is a much bigger deal than chest pains and stents. And I don't think for a minute the doctors just figured this out a week later.

So here we have a person who could very well become President, and the public was deceived about his condition because it would have been bad news for HIM. Finally when the ruse could go on no longer, THAT was when the truth was told. Sounds like the way things are done in Russia.

THAT is no way to win the trust of the public. The American public is very tired of being lied to.

This was handled poorly. If the way this was handled was any reflection of what could be expected from President Sanders, the public could not possibly be impressed with that.

I have to agree....but sadly, that seems to be "business as usual" tactics for ALL politicians when it comes to their personal health, as the opposition seems to immediately jump on it as a weapon and exaggerate the facts. Maybe one day, all that nonsense will stop.

To a large degree I agree with your points. But as far as the Orange Oaf is concerned, he sinks his chances of a fair re-election with each tweet and executive order.

No, he was anything BUT "obscure". His record proves that. As far as polling is concerned, he seems to be doing well before he heart attack, and STILL is a surprising fund raiser. Bernie owes the Vermont voters, NOT the DNC who screwed him in California.
