Yesterday saw a terse admonition of the President by Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, a normally staunch Trump supporter. He is going to have to be moved from the NO column to the MAYBE column.

The democrats are trying to run the Nixon play. Scare weak kneed republicans into going to Trump and telling him he is “fucked”

After three years they don’t know who they are fucking with. Trump is not a creature of DC. He won’t be cowed. He will force them all to show their hands. He will force Pelosi to take a vote. She is scared to take a vote. She is playing her JPP supporters for suckers.

Trump IS the deep state, as are most of the Republicans in the Senate. And Trump is a coward, like all bullies. He'll fold as soon as it looks like he'll lose. He'll whine endlessly about it, but he'll fold.

The elections are held by each of the state governments, not the federal government.

Do you understand anything about federalism?
 
I believe it's evident that if the Dim Dems had ANYTHING to impeach President Trump, they WOULD HAVE DONE IT BY NOW. ALL talk and NO action, SO typical of Dim Dems and Loony Libs!
 
Here's an interesting coincidence.

The OP article is 2 years old, estimating 6 votes standing between Trump and impeachment.

And now my guesses show 14 of 53 current Republican Senators ready to vote for conviction, out of 20 needed. ie Suggesting Trump is now 6 votes away from being convicted in an impeachment.

I came up with the same conclusion as the OP article writer.
