That is just not true. Only selective schools with more applicants than spaces use affirmative action. Many other colleges let in almost anyone who applies because they want the students regardless of race. Community colleges are open admissions who allow anybody to enroll.

A racist idiot claimed blacks have less opportunity and an inferior educational system. I pointed out that black schools get more taxpayer money than white schools. I also pointed out that universities give blacks preferences in admissions. Colleges tend to have very low standards of entry, especially community colleges. But universities are another thing. Universities usually are selective to keep up their reputation.

Colleges now give preferential admissions to males as they become a shrinking percentage of college students. Black colleges give preferential treatment to white applicants to increase their diversity. Places like Harvard give preference to people from the Midwest and South.
Although I've never researched this I suspect "diversity" became a goal because it is less suspect a category than race to meet constitutional muster. The courts have said affirmative action plans cannot exclude any category. For example, they cannot give points for being a racial minority because whites are excluded. But, they can give points for being a scholarship athlete. Now the big category is showing they overcame adversity and companies exist to write your admissions essay to prove it.
Poor Asians--nobody helps them.
Of course, the black unemployment rate has been dropping since 2010. Nothing changed under Trump.

No black college would give preferential treatment to white applicants. 1) Black colleges giving preferences to whites is like the KKK giving preferences to black applicants. 1) Whites don't need preferences. You're wrong again. The courts do allow explicit discrimination against whites, using quota excuses. But, in some places, explicit racial discrimination against whites is banned. The "adversity" strategy is an attempt to achieve the same racial discrimination against whites as explicit racial discrimination achieves.
Asians are immigrants. They (and their taxes), and their ancestors, didn't build American universities. But, yeah, nobody helps them. They come from very foreign cultures and outperform even native whites (whites beat Asians on the language section of the SAT). Asians make monkeys out of negroes. Negroes are born in America and get huge amounts of preferences, yet they can't come even remotely close to the performance of severely handicapped Asians.

No, you are wrong again. The current guidelines for affirmative actions is based on the law school and undergraduate admissions policies at the University of Michigan. They found the undergraduate admissions policy unconstitutional because it gave points for being a racial minority which excluded whites. But the law school admissions policy was upheld because it did not include policies eliminating any students.
You need to read about the Gratz v. Bollinger and Grutter v. Bollinger cases to familiarize yourself with the law. You will see there is nothing wrong with my credibility but your mistaken preconceived assumptions.
