Legislation would have to pass the House and Senate and we all know the democrat party isn’t going to give President Trump something to sign. So it is a moot point.

Trump has been for gun regulation in the past, but like all his stances, he will change them for his benefit. The NRA dropped millions into his campaign. He has shown he will do what they want. But the word is they fucked up their finances and they cannot give him the support they did before. So if they can't give them what he needs, he will turn on them in a second. Surely there is nothing in the Second Amendment regarding age. It baffles me why the minimum age for ownership, especially military style weapons like the AR-15, shouldn't be raised to 25.

It's not a "military style" weapon. What does that even mean? No military in the world uses the AR-15. I'd be fine with raising the minimum age to 25, as long as that's the universal adult age for drinking, military service, and voting. I'm being sarcastic, of course. If people can fight, and die for this country, they can purchase a firearm. As for ownership, there is nothing wrong with teaching kids to shoot at a young age. I don't understand this type of position from anti gunners, you always want to adopt measures that have nothing to do with preventing mass shootings, and only serve to limit the liberty of law abiding citizens. It makes no sense.
