being honest...……..this hasn't changed in 250 yrs in this country, drive through the South or the West...…...racism is thriving

Man that is stupid, Cars are used as transportation. they are not designed to kill. We have passed many many laws to make them safer. We license drivers and make them renew them. They are tested and have to take drivers training. We are making them safer and driverless cars will cut down on accidents even more.
The only similarity is the auto manufacturers fought every single law that forced them to make safer autos. That is what gun manufacturers and their lobbyist (NRA) do.

Any modern society cannot function without vehicles. Period. They are a NECESSITY of life. The culture and economy collapse without them.

Conversely, many modern societies do quite well in the absence or near absence of guns. The difference? A much lower gun death rate. Where’s the downside?
