WRONG. The USPS is funded by taxpayers. It is part of the government. Postage is a government tax.

Their revenue comes from business operations, not taxpayers. They get paid by FedEx and UPS as well as the regular business revenue paid by customers.

It comes from taxpayers. The USPS is a government agency. Postage stamps are a tax. Their value is set by Congress.

FedEx and UPS are private organizations. They can adjust their price freely to compete. There is a BIG difference between what you buy from FedEx or UPS and the tax you pay for using USPS.
