1%ers want to be taxed more. Good Idea?

Confiscate their wealth. It's the only way to achieve equality.

The rest is just virtue signaling. They know damn well they can donate to the Treasury if they truly cared.

How many millionaires are there in the United States? We estimate that there are 14,814,453 millionaires in the United States. A million dollar net worth for a household is the 88.24% wealth bracket in the US in 2016: 11.76% of all households .

I assume that the other 14,814,253 do not agree, Jacky.

I think they view America becoming a 'Third World' type Country. Where the Top 1% have the Wealth and run everything for themselves, and the other 99% are the Peasants, fighting over the crumbs.

(Hmmmmm ... I wonder where Earl would fit in there?)

I think that they are wrong, Jacky.

Those "about" 200 millionaires can use their tax form to pay more taxes.

Here's a hint, all three (3) of my children are in the 1%. I won't tell you my income level. You wouldn't believe it.

The top 1% is only 450K per year per CNN.

I think YOU have one warped view of the way America works.
But that's ok,

but I'd really rather you not vote, could you do that for me.

The wealthy are pushing for more taxes because they recognize the wealth gap is horrible and threatens the American experiment. It is not benign. Every tax program throws more and more money to the top 1 percent. However, we have royalty at the very top. We are creating a plutocracy that Tedy Roosevelt warned us about in 1900. He said swollen fortunes passed on over time are different in kind from a guy who made a fortune off a great idea or a business. They start picking politicians, get laws and regulations for their benefit and will make the country work for them. Does anyone think that is not happening?

I had to LAUGH my ass off at these morons. So tell me; what is preventing them from sending more of their wealth to the Federal Coffers?

The dumbest thing about these filthy rich leftist clowns is their misplaced belief that the Federal Government can "educate" and create "opportunity" for those they think they are helping without pissing away about 4/5s of the money that gets there.

These fools are admitted economics idiots. They also lack a basic education on political history. We don't have a REVENUE problem in this country. We have a GOVERNMENT spending problem.

We don't need MORE wards of the massive Government State. We need LESS of them and MORE businesses that need more workers. We need reform in our educational institutions that currently graduate indoctrinated low IQ idiots.

That isn't what turns nations into third world shit holes Jack. It's a lawless Fascistic leftist progressive ideology built on the lie that Government is the answer to all our societal problems.

Back your assumption. You made it up. Give real numbers.

Relative, how one breaks it down, if you live in Alabama you only need to make $300,000 to be considered a "millionaire"

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/27/how...be-in-the-top-1percent-in-every-us-state.html

I do believe "Jack," based upon the individuals cited in the article, means billionaires, there are over four hundred of them

In addition, how many individuals in the top two tax brackets really pay over thirty percent plus in tax? You know damn well Trump doesn't, nor do many of the others, point being talking about taxing the one percent doesn't mean raising bracket percentages but eliminating the numerous ways of avoiding tax that are avaliable to anyone who can hire an army of attorneys and accountants
